‘A goal without a plan is just a wish.” Antoine de Saint-Exupery

Hello, my name is Izabela, and my greatest passion is helping children and young adults overcome challenges, discover their inner strengths, and build the confidence and emotional resilience they need to thrive. Using a Solution-Focused approach, I guide them on a journey to a happier, calmer, and more balanced life.

My goal is to empower children and young adults with a positive mindset, enabling them to navigate their current challenges while feeling excited and optimistic about the future. Along the way, I support families too, creating a ripple effect of positive change in their lives.

I work with children aged 6 and up, young adults, and individuals with additional needs, disabilities, or neurodiverse conditions, tailoring my approach to meet each unique personality and set of circumstances.

Areas I can support with:

  • Anxiety
  • Stress
  • Low mood
  • Anger management
  • Social anxiety
  • Low self-esteem
  • Low confidence
  • Sports/exam performance
  • Fears and phobias
  • Obsessive-Compulsive Disorders (OCD)
  • Exam stress and anxiety
  • Transition to secondary school/college
  • Trauma
  • Self-harm
  • Sleep problems

A bit about me

In addition to being a therapist, specialising in Solution Focused Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy, I bring over 15 years of experience as a fully qualified Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENDCo) and primary school teacher, having worked in a variety of schools across London.

Throughout my career in education, I’ve gained valuable insights into the academic, emotional, and social challenges that children and young people face today. Working closely with such a diverse range of young individuals has shown me the incredible impact that personalised, focused support can have. It’s truly inspiring to see how shifting the focus to solutions, rather than dwelling on problems, can create meaningful and lasting positive changes in their lives.

As a proud mum of two wonderful teenagers, I also understand firsthand the pressures and complexities of growing up in today’s world. This personal perspective helps me connect with the young people I work with and empathise with the challenges their families face, enabling me to offer support that truly makes a difference.

My approach

I treat every client with genuine care and compassion, to ensure they feel valued and supported during their personal journey to finding solutions. My aim is to help young people discover their inner resources and capabilities, in order to bring about long-lasting, positive change.

Before you and your child decide to work with me, I offer a free initial consultation, in person or online. This is a great opportunity for both you and your child to meet me and gain an understanding of how sessions with me can help.

For your reassurance
